“As a beginner to chair yoga I’ve found it really beneficial. Clare is an amazing, caring teacher, she explains every movement we do and the benefits of each one. I find chair yoga very calming as I am a very stressed person, I find it hard to relax but the class has really helped me to calm down. Clare has taught us how to relax at home which has helped me especially if I’m struggling to sleep. We also do balance exercises which have improved my balance. I can fully recommend doing chair yoga, I enjoy it”.

“I have considered practicing Yoga for years but I never actually found a class or an instructor which motivated me to take it up. Then I met Clare. I have been doing one to one sessions with Clare for 2 months and in that time I have learned so much. I am now a total yoga addict!
I have always had a problem with my lower back and I have early osteoarthritis in my hands. Clare quickly adapted our session accordingly and by the following week, she had designed a programme for me that took in to account all of my issues. I have also experienced a lot of stress over the past couple of years and Clare has taught me how to use yoga practice and meditation to clear my mind and to properly relax. “For me yoga has been a way to calm and focus my mind, to try to let go of the stresses of my life even just for that moment when I am practising. It’s also a way to condition my body, not only improving my flexibility but as I get older I am more determined to maintain good mobility for as long as possible and strongly believe yoga will help with this, I already notice how it helps me manage back pain and helps to stretch out niggles which is why I try to practise regularly. I love my yoga sessions with Clare as these are always better structured and push me more than when I practice alone, she is a fantastic teacher who not only has a calming voice but also helps me to hone my yoga technique and master the poses further, she’s also just a wonderful person to spend time with, I couldn’t recommend her enough”.
